Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”

Everyone wants to be Blissful and Happy. This desire lies at the very core of our inner being because our true nature is ever-blissful. Conditions and situations in this material/physical world give rise to negative feelings in us, like anger, fear, anxiety, stress, hatred etc. These negative feelings make us forget our true blissful nature. Chanting and the meditation of ‘Om’ (Aum) is a proven way to reach and stay in that ever-blissful nature. Om is considered to be one of the most important sounds in all the universe and has been chanted for thousands of years. It’s believed continuous practice leads to profound enlightenment. But there are more than just a few benefits to this powerful, ancient practice…there are many that affect us and our environment in different ways.
Correct breathing means you breathe in a way that is physiologically optimal for your body. It’s the way you were designed to breathe, only you were never taught how to. Over time, stress causes our muscles to tighten up and our respiration rate to quicken. Most of us become thoracic breathers, using only the middle and upper parts of the lungs. The path to better breathing is just a breath away. Luckily, changing your breathing habits isn’t all that complicated. All you have to do is adopt the following five simple principles, and you’ll be sure to make the most out of the 25,000 breaths you take every day:

Siddha Spirituality of Swami Hardas Life System believes the physical as well as spiritual importance of the pineal gland, hence we are of […]
